God wants you to receive His strength and power but you
can’t do that when you’re only dwelling on your problems. When you’re thankful
it not only ministers gratefulness and hope to your spirit but it also opens
the door for God to move on your behalf. Don’t just focus on what’s wrong in
your life; focus on what God can do when you surrender your life to Him.
No matter what’s going on, you can always find something to
be thankful for. We should always pray with the attitude that, “Father, I may
be sick but thank you that it’s not terminal, thank You for being my Healer.” Or,
“I may be struggling in my finances but thank You for food and shelter in the
meantime while you’re restoring abundance back to me.” Or, “I may be lonely
right now, but thank You for taking care to line up the absolute right person
for me.”
As you give thanks in everything, you will see God’s hand
move mightily on your behalf, and you’ll come out of that difficulty better, stronger
and wiser than before. Today, choose to give God thanks in all things. Trust
that He is faithful, and has good plans in store for your future!
