The bible says, “For the Lord God is a sun and a
safe-covering. The Lord gives favor and honor. He holds back nothing good from
those who walk in the way that is right.” God’s not looking at your past
mistakes; your past is erased in His eyes. He’s looking at how you live now,
today, in this moment. And every moment is another chance to be better; come up
higher; choose more wisely.
Sure, you may make mistakes from time to time still, but the
bible also says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us
our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Don’t let the mistakes
and bad choices of yesterday ruin your today. Don’t let the enemy rob you of
the peace and provision God promised you just because you don’t believe you
deserve it.
Understand today that God wants to pour His favor and honor
onto your life. If you feel like there‘s anything in your life that you need to
be cleansed from, go to Him today and confess it to Him. He said, “I will show
loving-kindness to them and forgive their sins. I will remember their sins no
more.” Get it out in the open and let Him begin to help you move on, so that
you can receive the good things He has in store for you!
